Eight years ago the wonderful Gin Monkey created a specific day honouring one of the best spirits in the world ¦ Gin. World Gin Day is now a global celebration of all things gin, the idea is simple: get people together all around the world with a legitimate excuse to drink more gin.

We’ve lined out the perfect gin filled day below including the hottest juniper celebrations taking place in London, be sure to pace yourself…

Gin Breakfast at Balans Soho Society

We all know Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it’s only right to start your day with a solid Gin Breakfast at Balans Soho Society. The popular Old Compton Street restaurant will be teaming Gin Cocktails with their iconic breakfast dishes.

Chose from High Society Eggs Benedict with lobster, bacon & avocado, steak & eggs or smoked haddock kedgeree. Junipalooza

When you’ve had enough riverside fun jump on the tube to the ultimate celebration of all things Gin, Junipalooza. With dozens of makers in one room, sharing their love and know-how of the drink, as well as serving up samples of their juniper-laced spirits and generally having a good natter about all things GIN! Oh, and it’s all accompanied by a great bar, a range of talks and guests having the best time since…well, last year’s stellar event.

Junipalooza is proud to take place over World Gin Day and on the day, you’ll get a chance to meet the 35+ ginsmiths who are flying in from all over the world. and you’ll be invited to sample a range of their amazing botanical blends.
