Get a taste of Brazil with Zeca De Matos Cachaca
With all eyes on Brazil it’s only natural to want to bring a flavour of this incredible South American country into your home, there’s no better way to do this than with a taste of the nations most popular spirit, Cachaca.
We’re delighted to have one of the most promising Cachaca brands – Zeca De Matos – coming to the Spirit Show, and they’ve given us some delicious recipes to transport our taste buds to the beaches of Rio.
2 tsp brown sugar
3 Lime wedges
2 Orange wedges
2 Lemon wedges
This is Zeca’s signature cocktail and a delicious variation on the Caipirinha that uses all 3 citrus fruits. Place fruit and sugar into a glass and muddle until the juice extracts and blends with the sugar. Break up some ice cubes, put into the glass and pour over the cachaca.
Throw in a pinch of cinnamon when muddling as an option.
